Frederick, MD – A twenty-five-year-old man may be facing new charges now that the pedestrian he injured in an accident has died as a result of his injuries. According to police, on Monday, May 13th, they received notice that the 59-year-old pedestrian that was struck in the crash had died at Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. The pedestrian was hit by the suspect's vehicle in the early morning hours on May 2nd in the 300 block of North Market Street.
The 25-year-old suspect was subsequently arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol among other offenses. The police say that it will be up to the grand jury to consider additional charges in connection to the death of the 59-year-old pedestrian. The suspect is free on $10,000 bond and he couldn't be reached for comment; the court records did not list a defense attorney.
